Ok, George is unwell. This is my dad's dad, a hardened drinker and orthodox Catholic Celtic loving man if there ever was one. He once told me that he'd "been abstinate from drink and fags for 14 whole years, but then he left school."

Well, its caught up with him. Liver cancer, spread to both lungs. He has months left at the most. We've tried to alternate between the hospice and Home but it wasnt working, and it looks like he'll now be in the RAH for the rest of it.
